Hi Everyone!

My name is Sam Gendelman and this is my avenue for art. I am currently studying Integrative Physiology and Russian Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder. I have sold over 6,000 products through RedBubble (a site for creators to sell their work) of custom stickers, T-Shirts, Hoodies, phone cases, etc. A big topic for a lot of my digital portfolio is popular musical artists and the status quo of the music industry as a whole. A lot of my works are minimalist interpretations of already existent photos.

A huge motivator for me is fashion and wearing unique things. The ability to produce some of these unique things is something that I love. Knowing that other people are wearing it and also enjoying it keeps me going when art gets put on the back burner.  I don't just enjoy listening to music, I'm amused by the entire concept and idea of a musical artist. All the bling, houses, and cars is a factor I tend to exaggerate in my art. Beyond my published works, I draw a lot of inspiration from the natural world. My favorite animals are bears, but I admire most large beasts and predators in our world. I love to make videos of my adventures and memories in the wild.

In addition to these inspirations, my biggest supporters have and always will be my family (pictured here). Our Russian roots have not only altered my area of study, but also served as an inspiration for some of the characters I enjoy producing in graphic designs. I also plan to become a doctor some day, the beauty of the human body and human form also enable some of my art. Not only do I appreciate the outward beauty of the human body, but I find the inner workings of our systems to be incredulously spectacular. Everything working in conjunction to sustain life consistently continues to impress me as I progress in my studies.
